Clan Milano: the Salone del Mobile between eclectic aesthetics and refined simplicity
Clan Milano chooses once again the cosmopolitan venue of the Salone del Mobile Milano 2018 to launch, in exclusive preview, its new collections.
Eclectic style and flamboyant brio are the main features behind both the design of the exhibition space and the new collections of the brand, born in 2015 under the artistic direction of Alessandro La Spada.
In the Officina storage pieces, the Mimetica finish – with a particular texture that resembles marble – is reinterpreted by bold chromatic contrasts. The camouflage effect (obtained from a particular veneering technique) enhances the linear profiles of the cabinet and low cabinet models. The distinctive elements that distinguish the different pieces arrive from the world of repair shops: handles, bolts and wheels are embellished by polished steel in galvanic gold and turned brass finishes.
A sophisticated essentiality enhances the elegant Walley chandelier. The new lighting proposal by the brand draws inspiration from the refined aesthetics of the ’50s. Solid elliptical frames – endowed with a metallic finish – create a fluid configuration that surrounds white globes in encased glass, suspended stars emanating a soft luminiscence.
Evocative multicultural references coexist in the new Clan Milano furnishing solutions, skilfully blended thanks to the excellence of craftsmanship which enhances the exclusive appeal of each piece.
